The challenge is picking just one per day.

The goal of this site is, of course, to nominate an idiot of the day, with a goal of doing so every day.  The idea started out as a way to vent frustration at the stupid things that people do in every day life, but when the opportunity presents itself, posts will try to refrain from simple name calling and provide reasons for why the idiocy of the nominee represents a societal danger rather than a personal inconvenience.

Furthermore, those who have their names printed on these pages may not be actual idiots, but may have simply drawn the ire of the poster for some isolated incident relating to their behavior, ideas, or actions at a given time or place.  The important thing will normally be the act of idiocy, rather than the particular idiot who committed it.
